Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall. If you look carefully it is possible to see two rabbits, then a family of rabbits, then a family of full grown rabbits, then, by fall the now grown rabbits have hopped off, into the distance.

Yick Fung was an Import-Export business open in Seattle, Washington from 1910 to 2008. Today it is recreated in the Wing Luke Museum. I was lucky enough to be able to sit and sketch there before working on this piece. I imagined the ghosts of all the people who came through, railroad workers coming to Seattle from China, going into the interior to do hard labor, the old men who bought return tickets to China for retirement. Most importantly the children who came and bought candy from the jars. The similarities to rural general stories interested me, as well as the longevity of this business. Today the world markets are concerned with quick profits, but will the same companies still be around 100 years from now?

Dog and cat family
The dog cat family has six dogs and one cat. Sometimes their friend the human tells them that dogs and cats aren't supposed to get along, but they don't care, they love each other.
All About Humans
Sana lives in Dearborn, Michigan with her parents. She is an only child. Her favorite animal is the tiger, but also other cats. Recently her family visited Yellowstone in Wyoming and saw buffalo. After getting back home, her parents gave her an orange kitten which she named Tigger. Sana still likes tigers better than domestic cats. She is especially interested in Caspian Tigers, which used to live in Iraq where her parents grew up. Unfortunately Capsian Tigers are now extinct so she won't get to see one in the wild.
